IFLA world council and conference 2025, Nantes - France

Steffi Schüppel participated in the IFLA World Council and the “Guiding Landscapes” Congress in Nantes, France, where she contributed to important discussions shaping the future of landscape architecture.

As session chair for “Spatial Justice through Urban Landscape,” Steffi facilitated engaging discussions alongside inspiring presentations exploring how landscape design can promote equity in urban environments.

She also presented two papers that drew considerable interest from the international audience: “LiF-T Landscape in Focus - Tools for Small Municipalities for Sustainable Landscape” and “Co-Creation and Public Space: Strengthening Municipal Capacity Through Participatory Landscape Design.” Both presentations sparked valuable exchanges that will inform the continued development of these projects.
