Steffi Schüppel attended COP30, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Belém, Brazil, as a delegate of IFLA, International Federation of Landscape Architects.

As IFLA delegate, Steffi Schüppel participated in COP30 in Belém, Brazil. During the conference, she took part in the panel discussion "Cities in Motion: Climate, Migration, and the Future of Human Habitat," where she discussed with international experts from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), IFLA, and the Thai Ministry of Climate Change how climate-resilient and inclusive cities can be designed. In doing so, she presented the EU projects LiF-T (Landscape in Focus) and T!Raum and demonstrated how participatory landscape architecture can contribute both to the integration of newcomers in growing cities and to preventing emigration from rural regions.
